Prepaying can help members who move around a lot, own rental properties, or are in college or the military, but it’s especially attractive for members who would prefer to avoid deposits, credit checks, reconnect fees and want the flexibility to pay what they want, when they want.

In addition, members who prepay generally use less energy simply because they’re more aware of how much power they’re consuming.

Prepay allows members to plan more accurate monthly budgets and make smaller, incremental payments. For example, if you only have $10 to put gas in your car, you pay $10. The same goes for prepaid electricity. Prepay service automates the process by remotely disconnecting the service when the member’s funds are used and reconnects them within minutes of making a payment through any number of convenient payment options.
